The Main Gym at San Mateo is a joint-use facility with the city of San Mateo that opened in 2002. The gym provides large PE locker rooms, a wrestling room, as well as a dance room. The court provides basketball, volleyball, and badminton lines, and the seating capacity is 1700. The Main Gym also houses the San Mateo Athletic Hall of Fame.

Athletic Training Complex(ATC)

Opened in 2025, the Athletic Training Complex provides students with a state-of-the-art athletic training room, a boys varsity locker room, a girls varsity locker room, and a basketball/volleyball/badminton court.
SAN MATEO POOL
San Mateo Pool

The multipurpose pool is used for PE classes as well as Water Polo and Swim teams. New pool construction is supposed to start in the summer of 2027.
STADIUM FIELD

The San Mateo stadium and track provide an all-weather surface for football, soccer, flag football, track/field, and physical education classes. The stadium seating capacity is 3500.
SIMI LEE FIELD
Simi Lee Softball Field

The softball field was named in 2025 in honor of Simi Lee, a member of the San Mateo High Hall of Fame and San Mateo County Hall of Fame. Simi, a 1969 graduate who has contributed to Peninsula athletics for decades, has a passion for softball. She has been a youth softball commissioner for years and an umpire. She is currently the PAL statistician and actively playing in softball tournaments to this day.
